Are You Looking For a Show or A Pet Puppy? Read this: Owning a show Bull Terrier can be a fun, relatively inexpensive, activity and a great way to become part of a community of fun (and sometimes crazy) people who love Bull Terriers. Showing Bull Terriers is not like many other breeds, where you have to have a professional handler and vast sums of time and money in order to get a championship. More often than not, Bull Terrier breeders will show their dogs at only a handful of specialty shows each year, most of which doe not require overnight travel, and the dogs are almost never handled by a professional handler. These specialty shows are hosted by local Bull Terrier clubs, and there are always fun events connected with the shows. Usually, the host club will organize a hospitality lunch, and a dinner with fun raffles of Bull Terrier stuff. Of course, everyone wants to win, but Bull Terrier owners go to the specialties almost as much for the social aspect as the competitive aspect. Showing is not for everyone, but many people are surprised at how accessible and affordable it can be for novice owners. Many of the top show Bull Terriers in history have been dogs who were owned by people who originally considered themselves strictly pet owners. When you are looking for a puppy, consider if you might be interested in going to some shows and allowing the dog’s breeder to show it for you!

Jenny is a stunner and, to me, she epitomizes true terrier type. Very short back, balanced angulation, jaunty gait, and a superb head with tiny eyes and paralyzing expression. She self-stacked the first day she stood on her feet, and she never looked back. When she hits a pose, she takes your breath away. At 11 weeks, she has a scissors bite with a bit of room to spare. Jenny is my favorite bitch in the litter. While the others each excel in their own style, I just love a good terrier-type bitch. While she is an affectionate cuddler and has a very high social attraction to people, she is very active and needs more individual attention than I can give her here with my 5 adult dogs and full time job. If my situation were different, there is no question I would be keeping Jenny. She is an exceptional bitch and deserves a home where she can develop to her full potential. Jenny is available to a show home.

Mrs. Brown: Mrs. Brown is an easygoing snuggler and would do well in almost any household where she can get the physical affection she craves. She is a substantial, big boned, and very correctly made bitch. We are particularly pleased with her beautiful angulation, lovely fore chest, reach of neck, and powerful rear. She has paralyzing expression, with tiny eyes and beautiful width to her head, all the way down to the end of her muzzle. Her profile has begun to turn nicely, and, at 11 weeks, she is scissors bite with a bit of room to spare. Mrs. Brown is available to a show home.

Basil: Basil is a loving boy who is looking for the right home to give him the individual play and cuddle time he wants. He is a small, beautiful, typey dog, with a really nice head, but we feel he did not develop enough bone to be competitive in the specialty ring. This attractive and sweet boy is available to a pet home.
